How does a Realtor negotiate for me?

A Realtor negotiates for you through examining the comparable analyses retrieved from MLS. From the comparisons of neighbourhood market trends, days on the market, condition of the house, previous sold properties and current houses available for sale, this information will help justify the price and terms being offered on the property of interest. It will ensure that the price negotiated is fair to you and to the seller. For a better opportunity in getting your offer accepted, it is highly recommended that you offer a generous deposit at the time of negotiation. This will reassure the seller that you are a serious buyer.

Please keep in mind that there are many different comparisons to use and/or different approaches when negotiating on a house. Each case is unique and should be packaged and presented accordingly. Each offer should rationally reflect the seller’s Realtor and the seller’s interests.
